We encourage outdoor cooking! To keep the cottages fresh and comfortable for all guests, they do not include indoor stoves or ovens. Most guests prefer grilling or cooking at their campsite picnic area.
FAQs
Q: How many people do the cottages sleep?
A: All cottages sleep 2–4 guests comfortably (queen bed + full size convertible couch). We specify on each cottage the number of people it can sleep.
Q: Is there a bathroom?
The cottages are parked at Assateague State Park intentionally because the bathhouses are right next door to the campsites. They have toilets, showers (with hot water!), sinks, and fresh potable water right there.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Not at this time — we want to keep the cottages fresh, clean & allergy-friendly for all guests.
Q: Is AC or heat included?
A: Cottages use screened windows + the ocean breeze. You’ll find the breeze quite refreshing and no AC is needed, even in the summer months!
Q: Is there a kitchen?
A: No indoor cooking. Guests may grill or cook at the picnic areas.
Q: Do you provide linens?
A: Yes — fresh sheets, comforters, pillows, and blankets are included. If you would like blankets for the extra couch, please bring them yourself.
